Better together
Better Together is two parts; Better Families and Better Jobs and one mission. Our mission is to radically reduce and prevent the number of children entering the foster care system in Florida by walking alongside families who are isolated and in crisis to provide support and a non threatening safety net for them as they maneuver what they're going through.

Please pray for protection, wisdom and the ability to serve our families, volunteers and partners with excellence. Please pray for volunteer mentors and host families. Please pray for a few key staff members to fill vacant roles on the Better Together team.

Resource Volunteer- meeting needs within the community as they arise. Dropping off a meal, a box of diapers or even helping to organize donations.
Mentor- Meeting once a week for an hour with a mom or dad to help them make strategic steps to meet their goals.
Care for children either just for the day or overnight care in emergency situations.
pregnancy solutions
Our mission is to empower men, women and youth with life affirming options and support. We provide completely free and confidential care to women and men for pregnancy and sexual health related services and do not refer or perform abortions.

Selah Freedom
Selah Freedom is a faith-based non-profit anti-human trafficking organization with the mission to protect children, end sex trafficking and bring freedom to individuals who have been exploited. We tackle issues on both ends of the spectrum by helping support victims and survivors through their recovery phases, preventing future young people from becoming victims while providing more awareness about child abuse and human trafficking to the community at large.

Please pray for a survivor who has been referred to a specialist due to significant bone loss and may need specialized infusions. Please pray for complete healing, wisdom and discernment for her medical team, and peace and strength as she walks through this process.
Please pray for a survivor who is beginning the job search process and feeling nervous. Pray for peace, confidence, and favor as she takes this next step, and that God would open the right door and guide her to the right opportunity.
Please pray for a survivor who is trying to reconnect with her adult children. Pray for healing, restoration, open hearts, and that God would guide each step of this relationship.
Please pray for a survivor who is seeking to learn more about Jesus but has experienced hurt and pain connected to God in the past. Pray that the Lord would meet her with love, healing, and truth, and that her heart would be open to experiencing His grace and faithfulness.

We also have church partners who will come and do serve days at one of our safe homes. We have different projects that you can work on, which is a great way to connect to the mission. Additionally we have opportunities for individuals to volunteer.

The primary mission of Priority 1 SW Florida is to "Introduce Christ into the Lives of Men". We are committed to engaging in authentic one-on-one discipleship with men and building Kingdom visioned men through the power of God’s word. P1 SW Florida challenges men to radically chase after Jesus, engage in transparent accountability relationships and fight for their families, sons, daughters, wives and their homes.

CALEB WOULD GO
We exist to empower individuals & families to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20). We are a Christian organization founded to honor the legacy of Caleb Bell by funding missionaries who demonstrate bold and adventurous characteristics similar to his.

YOUNG LIfe
Young Life is a Christ-centered ministry that helps kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and serve Him. Young Life volunteer leaders show they care by going where kids are, meeting them as they are, and believing in who they can be. We currently serve students at Sky Academy, L.A. Ainger Middle, Lemon Bay High, and the surrounding communities.

Please pray for teenagers' hearts to be softened to the Gospel and for them to surrender their lives to Jesus. Pray for wisdom for our leaders and staff, continued favor with local school administrators, and refreshed community support through new volunteer leaders, ongoing financial partners, and board members.

Become a volunteer leader with middle school or high school students and reach teens for Jesus. Provide snacks and/or meals for our Clubs with teens and leaders. Join our prayer team and ask God for the lost to be found. Help with our fundraising events team, or host a leader meeting at your home.
THE TWIG
Our vision is to provide a haven for the foster care community where needs are met, hearts are encouraged, and God's love is shown in a practical way.

Please pray for God's continued blessing on The Twig as we carry out our mission of encouraging and inspiring the lives of children in foster care by meeting their needs in practical ways. Pray for wisdom and discernment for our leadership, strength for our staff and volunteers, faithful financial provision, and meaningful partnerships that allow our ministry to grow. Above all, pray that through The Twig, every child and caregiver we serve experiences the love, hope, and compassion of Christ.

The Twig relies on financial support, donations of new clothing and essential items, community collection drives, and dedicated volunteers to carry out our mission. Volunteers serve in our boutique, warehouse, and at special events, while donated funds and items help us meet the everyday needs of children in foster care and the caregivers who support them.
Gulf Coast FCA
FCA is a ministry that ministers on local middle and high school campuses. We want to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. We accomplish this through campus clubs, team Bible studies, coaches Bible studies and character coaching.

180 House
The 180 House is an after school program located on the island of Venice. It is a safe place where teens can hang out with friends, eat snacks, have fun, receive support to navigate the challenges of life, and experience the love of Jesus through authentic, Christ-sharing relationships with genuine and caring adults.

We are looking for more volunteer leaders to serve with our middle and high school students. We are asking for a school year commitment to give a few hours a week to meeting teens in our 180 house and local school connections.
