Wisdom for Life

How do we live wisely in a complex world? The book of Proverbs reveals that wisdom is formed over time as we trust and apply God’s Word to everyday life. True wisdom comes from God alone and is ultimately embodied in Jesus Christ, “who became wisdom from God for us—our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30). As we pursue God’s wisdom, we’ll see Him build stronger homes, form healthier relationships, guide wiser decisions, and lead us to honor Him in every area of our lives. We’ll continue the series looking at Wisdom and Work.

Bible Reading Plan

There are 31 Proverbs, one proverb for every day of the month!  We encourage you to follow along with us in reading the Bible Project’s The Wisdom of Proverbs 31 Day reading plan during our Wisdom for Life series to grow in wisdom and spend time in God’s Word daily.

Baptism

Baptism is the biblical way to publicly express that you believe Jesus has done everything necessary for your salvation. By getting baptized, you are letting others know Jesus has changed your life and you now live for him.

Our next beach baptism is June 14 at the North Jetty Beach. Sign up for a class if you are ready to be baptized or have questions about getting baptized.

We’ll have a Bridge Family Potluck before the baptism, starting at 5PM, and then we’ll head down to the water for baptisms at 6PM.

What to Bring:

Last names A-H, bring a side dish or salad.

Last names I-S, bring a main entree.

Last names T-Z, bring a dessert.

Starting Point

The next Starting Point will be on Sunday, August 2, after the third service. Lunch is provided and childcare is available. Whether you’ve been at The Bridge Church for a couple of weeks or a couple of years, we’d love to see you at our next class to help you make connections within our church family. When you attend Starting Point, you will have the opportunity to take next steps to become a member at The Bridge Church.

Bridge Institute

At The Bridge Church, we want to see everyone grow in their maturity as followers of Christ, and you can do that by being a part of The Bridge Institute. It’s for anyone who calls The Bridge Church their church family, who wants to grow spiritually, and desires to become a stronger leader. Fall semester begins in August and will include 101, 201, and now 301! Join us!

Bridge Kids Camp

Kids & Students Promotion Week

Parents, it’s move-up time! During services on June 11 & June 14, Kids and Students will transition into their new classrooms based on the grade they’ll be entering this fall.

Bridging the Gap Podcast

Bridging the Gap is a podcast led by Pastor Josh and the Bridge Church team where they will have real conversations about faith, life, and following Jesus. Episodes are released on every Monday at 5:30AM.
