SUNCOAST YOUTH FOR CHRIST

  • Youth for Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

    Suncoast Youth for Christ has been serving 11-19 year old youth in Manatee and Sarasota counties since 1955. We have a deep love for all teens, especially those on the fringe of society – incarcerated, pregnant, self-destructive, isolated. These are our kids. Our mission is to build authentic relationships with them, share the hope of Christ, and help each one create a future full of promise.

  • We are the only Mobile Outreach Program for the Homeless in Port Charlotte, FL including those homeless coming out of jail or prison and/or those who may be suffering from substance and mental health issues. We provide a mobile food pantry to those homeless who cannot access soup kitchens or food pantries. The ultimate goal of our program is to help people become independently stable and in housing. We work with all human service, faith based and government providers to ensure our clients have the greatest opportunities
