Josh was born in Oklahoma City, but grew up in a ministry family and lived in five different states. He has spent the majority of his life in the sunshine state! He graduated with his B.A. in Christian Education at The Baptist College of Florida in 2006, a Masters of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Christian Leadership and a Masters of Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Ministry Leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary.

Josh met his wife, Cassidy, while attending The Baptist College of Florida in 2005. She was a freshman, he was a senior eager to graduate. They met on the basketball court, she beat him in a game of H-O-R-S-E and the rest is history, as they say. They were married in 2008 and have three wonderful children, Micah, Hannah, Chloe and a mini goldendoodle named Henry.

Josh grew up in church as a pastor’s kid, but surrendered to God’s call on his life to ministry after going on a mission trip to Haiti in high school. Over the years, Josh has served in ministry in various churches throughout Florida and Alabama. In 2020, Josh and his family moved to Venice, Florida to come alongside what God was doing in The Bridge Church.
