Michael was born and raised in Centreville, Virginia. He graduated from Liberty University in 2014 with a BS in Biblical Studies and minor in Biblical Greek. He met his wife, Kara, at a church in Jacksonville, FL and they were married in 2023 and have one son, Liam.

God called Michael to ministry, supernaturally, when he was in his junior year of high school. He played tug of war with God over what he wanted to do (Navy) vs what God wanted him to do — until he submitted to following God’s call to ministry in college. Doing things God's way has been the best decision since! Michael joined The Bridge staff in 2025.
