Tom was born in Arlington, MA and raised in Reading, MA. He attended Gordon College and received his BA in Psychology in 1970 and then later attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and graduated with his MDiv in 1980.
Tom met his wife, Wanda, in New Hampshire at the home of the pastor and his wife who led them both to the Lord. They just celebrated 50 years of marriage!

The Lord called Tom to ministry a year after graduating from college. He and Wanda moved to NH and served in a church as the pastor for five years. In 1983, he was called to serve as a Navy Chaplain and served 24 years. In 2007, they moved to CA and Tom served as a Pastor for older adult ministries, visitation ministry, and Veterans ministry.

They relocated to Venice in 2018 to care for Tom’s mother and he became the Pastor of the Bay Indies Evangelical Church in Venice for three plus years until they began attending and serving at The Bridge in Fall of 2022. Tom joined the staff as Care Pastor in October 2025.
